Britney Reacts To Sexual Harassment Claims

Britney Spears has broken her silence over her ex-staff member's claim that she sexually harassed him.

A statement released by Spears stated: "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself."

It continued: "The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."

Flores, is suing Britney for sexual harassment and emotional distress.The father of her two sons, Kevin Federline, has defended his estranged partner after his lawyer told the Associated Press: "The allegations are a product of economic motives...They are as baseless as they seem."

Meanwhile, in reaction to Britney's statement Flores has defended his decision to sue Spears claiming to TMZ.com: "if that's what they think, then that's what they think."

It seems to me that this man is trying to gain as much money as he can from Spears, he won't get a penny.

The Wanted Promise To Get Naked

MTV are reporting that new boyband, The Wanted have reportedly promised fans that if their first album gets to number one, they will pose naked.

After X Factor runner-up, Olly Murs declared that he would strip if his debut single Please Don't Let Me Go hit the top spot,Siva and Co have decided they will also go nude if their fans can get them to the coveted top chart position.

When speaking of Olly's upcoming naked shoot after he reached the number 1 on Sunday,All Time Low singer Max told The Sun: "Yeah, if there's a trend we'll join that!"

He added:"You can put that out there..... oh no, we're going to have to do it now aren't we? We'll do that for you."

Fans who want to see The Wanted lose their clothes will have to make sure they buy their as yet-untitled LP which is due out on 25th October.

I'm extremely bored of artists saying they will get naked if they top the charts. It is simply a cheap ploy to help gain extra buyers. How about we let the music do the selling in future.

‘Jersey Shore,’ Season 2, Episode 7: Recap

The drama finally came to a head on episode 7 of Jersey Shore. Check out the details below.

Sammi and Ronnie have been off and on, and done and un-done, for all of season two, and it has been unbearable to watch. JWoww and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who have to live with the drama, write an anonymous letter to Sammi informing her of Ronnie's questionable behavior at a nightclub. Sammi, instead of thanking the culprits, enrages and declares war. Things turn nasty and Sammi and JWoww begin to fight.

The fight was pretty good, however, seeing as it took 7 episodes for the whole thing to come to a head it was a bit of an anti climax. The end result of the fight is that Sammi and JWoww are now done with each other. We will see how long that lasts.

Snookie once again owned the episode due to the fact she finally 'got it in'. The one liners this girl comes out with are classic.

My favourite moment of the entire episode was definitely the discussion between Sammi and Staten Island's main bitch Angelina about how real they are.

"I'm a very real person, 100 percent real," boasted Sammi. "So am I," said Angelina," adding, "I'm your realest friend in here."

This season is definitely better than the first and there is way more drama. Episode 8 will air before the VMA pre show on Sunday.

Cheryl Cole Will Join US X Factor

Sinitta - Simon Cowell's 'right hand woman' on the talent show - let slip that theGeordie judge will soon be joining the panel on the American version of the hit show.

Cowell has already said he is quitting X Factor in the UK to concentrate on building his empire inAmerica, and now he's taking Cheryl with him.

'I know she is definitely in the line-up and is being considered,' said Sinitta.

But the 41-year-old 80s pop star refused to reveal any more details to The Metro.

'I don't know if I can say,' she hinted. 'This is how I got my ass in troublea few weeks ago.'

Cheryl, 27, has previously said she'd jump at the chance to be a judge on the US version of the show, but worried if anyone would understand her Geordie accent!

'It's kind of really scary, you know?' she said. ‘They don't know me out there, and I've got this weird accent, and they'd be a bit like ‘what?'

'I love the thought of it and I would absolutely love to do it,' she added.

This article screams bad journalism. Firstly, it was reported that Nicole Scherzinger's guest judging on the UK X Factor impressed Simon Cowell and she was being considered for the role and now Sinitta, the most unreliable source on the planet, is claiming Cheryl Cole will fill a seat on the judging panel. Sinitta is known for talking nonsense and I am not sure if I believe this article.

Would the US really take to Cheryl? In my opinion they wouldn't.

The pair have great chemistry in the video and would definetely make a great couple if they did not already both have partners. Will Smith’s Daughter Gets a Record Deal

On Wednesday, the Roc Nation entertainment company announced that it had signed a recording deal with the 9-year-old pop singer Willow Smith, whose debut single, “Whip My Hair,” has become a viral sensation after hitting the Web earlier this week. In a news release, Roc Nation said that Willow Smith, who is the sister of the “Karate Kid” actor Jaden Smith and – oh, yes – the daughter of the superstars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, will shoot her debut video in Los Angeles later this month. Jay-Z, the Roc Nation founder and president, said in a statement, “It’s rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career.”

Whether this is a good move remains to be seen. I think Whip My Hair is so-so and not as good as everyone is making it out to be and do not really see how Willow releasing an album at this age is going to do any favours. However, I love being proved wrong.

Christina Aguilera - Bionic Is Over

Christina Aguilera has revealed that she has moved on from her latest album Bionic.

The LP - Aguilera's first in four years - peaked at number one in the UK with the lowest opening-week sales for an album ever. It dropped to number 29 the following week.

Speaking at a press conference for her new movie Burlesque, she said: "The creative process that involved Bionic is over, I did what I wanted to do and I'm satisfied with it.

"If the album sells or if the songs are a hit, I don't care and I don't need to know it, I did my part and I gave 100% while I was doing it, and I'm proud of this work."

Discussing the film, she added: "Burlesque was a different process, I'll support this project util the end, but not to find out if it was a box office hit or not - that is not what motivates me.

"The creative process is my thing, I'm an artist and once something is over, I look forward for what is next, and I don't look back."

Aguilera's new single 'You Lost Me' is out September 20.

I think we were all aware the album was going to be over especially with the movie coming out. It would be in her best interests to move onto a new album and fast.

Rihanna amasses five 3-million US singles

Rihanna this week becomes the first artist to amass five 3-million-selling digital hits in the U.S. (combining lead and featured credits). She scores with Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie,” which has sold 3,000,000 digital copies in the past 11 weeks. Rihanna’s four previous 3-million-sellers are: “Umbrella” (featuring Jay-Z), “Don’t Stop The Music,” “Disturbia” and T.I.’s “Live Your Life.”

The second single 'Find Your Love' from Drake's debut album 'Thank Me Later' has surfaced. The track was produced by Kanye West and sees Drake take on the singing route rather than rapping. To be honest, I prefer 'Over' to this. I don't feel that this track is mainstream enough to make any sort of impact. The fact the track is completely different from 'Over', does give the promise that the album is going to be very experimental and unique, I for one can't wait. Whether he can get the 1 million first week sales or not remains to be seen.

Eminem has just released his new single 'Not Afraid', the first to be lifted from his new album 'Recovery'. The track is produced by Boi-1da and hits hard. The song reflects on Eminems problems with drugs and his rehabilitation and is probably the most personal lyric from Eminem in a long time.

I was very dissapointed by 'Relapse', infact I never even bought it. Therefore, I am hoping that 'Recovery' out on 22nd June gets back to the glory days.

Eve on Nicki Minaj

It is always good to see one bad ass rap chick big up another. Vibe magazine recently questioned Eve on the takeover of Nicki Minaj:

“I am a fan of the fact that she’s a female MC in the game. I gotta be honest, I don’t really know many of her records. I’ve seen a few things, honestly I don’t [remember them] and I’m being really real. I don’t really know her that well,” she tells VIBE. “When she was on [the “My Chick Bad” music video] set, she was nice as shit. To me, if her music was dope and she would’ve been an asshole than I wouldn’t have been a fan. I’m more a fan of hers as a person.”

As for the verse that Minaj spits on 'My Chick Bad':

“I mean, I think it’s unique to who she is. It is what it is. You know what I mean? I thought it was dope,” she says.

“She definitely is a quirky chick. That’s a good word for her. When she had the Freddy Krueger gloves I was like ‘Wow.’ But at the same time, whatever you decide to do, especially in music, you gotta go hard and own it. You can’t be timid wearing Freddy Krueger gloves in a video. If you look insecure, people are going to be like ‘Why are you doing that?’ You gotta fucking own it and she did. I think that’s dope.“

Eve then comments on whether she feels threatened by Minaj:

“Trust me, no one’s competition for me and that sounds cocky but I seriously live in such an Eve world. And not in a crazy-everything-is-me-bubble, it’s just that I’m bulding an empire,” the 31-year-old says. “I go on Twitter and people say ‘Yo, knock Nicki Minaj out of the box, but ultimately we’re all helping each other and I’m happy seeing these chicks in the game. It’s too much testosterone. When I see another female, my immediate reaction is not ‘Oh I gotta go and get my shit right.’ I got 900 other things going on. I can’t keep worrying about what’s coming up behind me.”

I get frustrated with Eve at times, she has released great music since her career began, but she has not released any new material since 'EVE-olution' in 2002 and that was a great album. Problems with her label began which ended up with Eve leaving Interscope Records, it is now claimed a new album 'Lip Lock' will be released this year although that can never be certain.

Rihanna has just announced her first US and Canadian headlining tour that will begin in July. Rihanna will be joined by rising stars Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, who will open all dates on the Live Nation production. Tickets go on sale beginning April 9 at LiveNation.com. Pre-sale tickets for fan club members are available beginning Wednesday, April 7, at 10 a.m. local time. Citi cardmembers will also have access to pre-sale tickets starting Wednesday, April 7, at 12 p.m. local time through Citi’s Private Pass Program.

It is about time that Rihanna gets her own headlining tour over there to see if she is up for the job. Although, I can't help but think that the support acts of Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha will also be bringing in huge numbers. It is completely unfair that the US gets these two support acts and the UK gets Pixie Lott.

Drake's 'Thank Me Later' Postponed

Yet another album has been pushed back, this time it is the debut album from Drake 'Thank Me Later'. The album was originally set to be released on 25th May and has now been pushed back to 15th June according to Universal Motown.

The first single from the Young Money star 'Over' has so far reached number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 which is fantastic considering the video has yet to be released and the song is just gaining support on radio.

For once, I think this pushback is for reasons other than flop material. Although, I am expecting another single to be released in order to maximise those first week sales.

Lady Gaga Deines 'Alejandro' Axed

Contactmusic recently reported that Lady Gaga was in dispute with her record company over the release of single 'Alejandro' as they were hoping to go down a different route by releasing 'Dance In The Dark'. However, Lady Gaga has taken to Twitter to report:

"Alejandro is on the radio. F**k it sounds so good, we did it little monsters."

'Alejandro will be released to US radio on the 20th April.

I think this news may just be a fabrication. The apparent negative feedback from radio stations over 'Alejandro' does not sound right, it is a perfect summer song and seeing as she has had so many radio hits over the past two years I can't see how 'Alejandro' would flop. As we know the hype will be centred around the video which will no doubt make 'Alejandro' the hit is deserves to be.

Put It In A Love Song - Video Delayed

Rap Up is reporting that the video for the Alcia Keys and Beyonce duet 'Put It In A Love Song' has been delayed once again until the Summer. In the meantime, Alicia will be shooting the video for another single 'Unthinkable (I'm Ready)'. The video will be shot in Los Angeles in mid-April with director Jake Nava (Beyoncé, Britney Spears).

Rap Up also reports that a Drake assisted remix is on the way:

“I’m really proud of all the things he’s been able to achieve, and we’re most likely going to do some kind of remix for the song that’ll be really good. There’ll be more of me and Drake.”

Although the blogs and stans will not like this news, it is clearly a great strategy. The album is massive right now and she is having a huge era inthe UK right now. 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart' is the next UK single, released in May and I believe this will be huge and set up 'Put It In A Love Song' for a late Summer release. Releasing the video now will not give the song the exposure that it deserves.

I'm so impressed with how this era has been handled despite the shaky start with single underperformance in the US.

Jedward plans to host SM:TV and CD:UK

Digital Spy are reporting that the vile Jedward are being lined up to be the new hosts of 'SM:TV' and 'CD:UK'. The programmes originally ran from 1998 to 2006 and raised the profile of hosts Cat Deeley and Ant and Dec. It is apparent that ITV are trying to make Jedward the new Ant and Dec. The major problem is that Ant and Dec are likable with Jard being as far removed from likeable as you can possibly get.

I think these two shows coming back would be great for the music industry and would really drive download sales. You only have to look at anytime at TV show is on with an artist performing and the download sales increase heavily after this. These two shows were massive back in the day and really pushed forward pop careers.

On another note, I am getting completely bored with Jedward. Their popularity is a complete media fabrication. The votes from X Factor and their flop single revealed this. Since X Factor has finished there have beenso many rumours that theyare geting tv shows and movie deals. The fact is they are talentless imbeciles who ought to go back to school and do something useful with their life instead of chasing the fame dream when they have no talent.

Huge opening sales for Scouting For Girls this week. The song has been all over radio for the past few weeks and was always going to be massive. The only let down is the clear lack of artistic development. The singles chart has became rather boring lately and we really need some big tracks to liven it up. However, this does not look like it is going to happen anytime soon with the lack of new releases.

Boyzone maintain the top spot on the albums chart, although it was a close one with Lady Gaga behind. The Fame Monster will pass the 2 million sales mark in the coming months, very exciting times. I think the album has a shot of reaching 3 million with the next year if these sales keep up. As a Sugababes fan it is a real shame that after 3 weeks they are out of the top 75 albums. I don't think there is anyway back for this album they need to move on to the next album if there is going to be one.

JLS - The Rise and Fall

Many of you may be wondering why I am discussing 'The Fall' of JLS when it is clear from their 'career' achievements in the past year that they are going to continue on the road to success. Well, I have very good reason for this. I feel that the bubble is about to burst and deservedly so.

JLS first came onto our screens on my most hated show [after the tripe that season 5 gave us] X Factor in 2008. They were fresh, new and probably what the UK pop market was looking for. They had some good performances like 'No Air' and 'Umbrella' and some dire performances most notably their unforgivable duet with Westlife. JLS came in second rightfully losing out to Alexandra Burke in the final. I was hoping that this would be the end of JLS as the UK has some sort of obsession with building up really bad talent and overexposing them to the media for a few years before the hype has finally stopped.

JLS went onto have two number one singles 'Beat Again' and Everybody In Love' in 2009 and in my opinion both of these tracks were complete dire and run of the mill pop crap. Both singles sold relatively well but did not reach the 1 million sales height of their debut album the creatively titled 'JLS'. One completed sell out theatre tour and a still to come arena tour followed and cemented the position of JLS as the biggest talentless act in the UK at the moment.

I could handle the underwhelming material and the Christmas album sales. However, things began to get completely beyond a joke when the band went on towin two Brit Awards for Best Single and Best Newcomers. The fact that 'Beat Again' won Best Single was a complete embarassment to music. The hype has just recently got worse with the news that they are 'Going to America' of course the stan blogs and the media have noted that they are going to be massive there and sell millions of records as RnB is so big over there right now thanks to Jay Sean and Taio Cruz. As much as I am a fan of the two mentioned acts, Jean Sean gas struggled to sell 150,000 copies of his album and only got single success due to hooking up with heavyweights Lil Wayne, Sean Paul and Lil John. Taio Cruz only got a number one due to Ludacris being on his track, his album has yet to be released but I can guarantee that sales will be appaling. Anyway, the stans are claiming that JLS are going to take the US by storm with 'Everybody In Love' despite the fact it has been out on US iTunes for months and done nothing.

If JLS are here in five years time then I will eat my words but as far as talent goes they don't even deserve to have a record deal, going with their appaling fashion sense it really worries me that they have had this much fortune.

Nicki Minaj - Massive Attack [Single Cover]

Check out the cover for 'Massive Attack' the first solo single from Nicki Minaj. The track will be released to iTunes on 13th April. No word on when the album will be released, I guess they are waiting to see how the single performs. Nicki has so many haters out there right now but the bitch is slaying. Anything Nicki does is done with passion and this track should be huge.

Well after a long break, I have decided to start blogging again. Real life takes over at times and it becomes hard to blog. I feel that if you miss a day in the blog world you are far behind. I'm going to put alot of work into my blogging this time and hope I can bring the most upto date news.

X Factor - Week 5

I was done with caring about this series after last weeks fiasco. However, this week beats them all. The show has jumped the shark.

Stacey Solomon - Son of A Preacher

At least Stacey moved about the stage more this week, demonstrating progression in her stage presence. However, I can't help but think her personality is the only reason she is still here, she does not excite me.

Olly Murs - Twist and Shout

I think Olly is going to win everyone seems to be going nuts for him. I feel his performances are beginning to get very samey. Why he is singing a song as old is this is beyond me. Oh that is right it is from Simon Cowells favourite movie.

Lloyd Daniels - Stand By Me [Beautiful Girls]

JLS done this rendition last year and done it much better. He should be gone by now he is horrific, and the constant involvement of Cheryl in his performances is making me sick.

Jamie Archer - Cryin'

Am I the only one who thought this was terrible. How this guy has yet to escape the bottom 2 is beyond me.

Lucie Jones - This Is Me

It took her five weeks but Lucie finally impressed me. I think she could release records like this and be a big pop star, which is more than can be said for everyone else left.

Danyl Johnson - Purple Rain

Vile. Ruth Lorenzo performed this year and was way better yet Simon Cowell voted her out [even though she stayed that week], the man is a walking contradiction. Danyl will not win this show.

John And Edward - Ghostbusters

Does anyone enjoy this anymore? They are vile.

Joe McElderry - Circle of Life

This performance was ok, I was a little bored.

Finalists - Hot N Cold

Where ids Katy Perry when you need her?

The bottom two of Lucie Jones and John and Edward was suprising to me. Lucie Jones gave her most contemporary performance and John and Edward have been in the press all week. I guess voters woke up and realised how bad John and Edward are.

So Simon Cowell this proves you do not care about music and shows the vile person you are. You claim this is a singing competition yet you vote to save the worst singers in the history of the live shows. The show has lost any credibility it fought to build up.

'Dance In The Dark' has been released to Irish iTunes whether this is a mistake or not I frankly do not care as the world now gets to hear this epic Fernando Garibay produced track from 'The Fame: Monster'. This track is a mixture of 80s, Madonnas Vogue, The Jacksons Scream, The Fame and couldn't be more epic.

The internet has literally gone Gaga tonight with the news from Cherry Tree Records that Lady Gaga's 'The Fame: Monster' releases have cancelled and now a single edition featuring the eight 'Monster' tracks will be released on its own. Whereas, there will be a special deluxe edition featuring all 'The Fame' and 'Monster' tracks. Confused? Well you are not the only one. Apparently Gaga wanted to make it as cheap as possible for her fans, which is a move I can respect.

Anyway where are the 'Video Phone' and 'Bad Romance' videos they have been pushed back so many times. Here is a preview for 'Bad Romance' which aired earlier tonight:

Underrated and Understated - VV Brown

I think it is important as a new blog to also post about new talent that don't have the platform that contestants on programmes such as X Factor get. I feel this weekly feature is important even if only two people listen to the artists that I think have potential to be huge stars but are not getting the attention they deserve. I will start with one of my favourite new artists of the year VV Brown. VV is signed to Universal Island Records in the United Kingdom and to EMI's Capitol Records in the United States [where her music is beginning to get played on major tv shows]. An artist that I would compare VV to would be Chrisette Michelle as she has that s
ame type of raspy soul voice.

VV has released five singles in the UK including the charity group effort 'I Got Soul', two of these have made the top 40, when they really all should have. Perhaps one of the problems is that Universal Music do not let you embed the videos on blogs, which in turn results in bloggers not even bothering to post. It took me a long time to find the ones I have embeded.

The frist album 'Travelling like The Light' is out now and reached number 30 on the UK album charts and is a fantastic record. Listen to VV below, see what you think and give her album a listen too.

Amelle Back At Work

Amelle has rejoined the Sugababes after a few weeks break due to depression over the departure of Keisha Buchanan. In4merz report the interview below. Remember 'About A Girl' is out in the UK on Monday. I'm struggling to see how it is going to be a hit with no promo.

"It's a new challenge, a new start for us and we know we've got to prove ourselves to people but I think it's something that we're excited about now."

Amelle's break followed Keisha Buchanan's much publicised exit from the group and Jade Ewen joining as a replacement.

There were negative things on there and there are some pretty horrendous people out there. Things like, 'Burn in hell', 'Why don't you get an eating disorder?

"You know she'd been under a lot of pressure and it just took its toll on Amelle," said Heidi.

"I've really missed her and Jade hasn't really had a chance to get to know her properly yet. I think we're over the worst of it now."

Heidi admitted she's also had her fair share of pressure and explained why she's recently abandoned her Twitter page.

"I stopped putting messages on it because I wasn't in a happy, light-hearted mood to be saying, 'I'm off to a spin class' or whatever," she said.

"There were negative things on there and there are some pretty horrendous people out there.

"Things like, 'Burn in hell', 'Why don't you get an eating disorder? You look fat next to Jade and Amelle'. Pretty nasty things."

Heidi says she will probably be back on the social networking site soon though.

"I just thought I am a good person," she added. "People that don't even know me, don't know the situation, to let that ruin your day is silly. I just wanted to deal with what was going on in our lives."

Sugababes' new album has been delayed until next February Since Keisha Buchanan left, there has been lots of discussion about whether the band can continue to call themselves Sugababes, with no original members remaining.

Heidi says she never once thought of changing their name.

"I don't want to sound like I'm being bigheaded but the Sugababes had one album which didn't sell and they were dropped," she said.

"I joined eight years ago and we were signed together by Island records. I've been there since our first number one Freak Like Me and been part of the history of the band ever since."

Heidi also defended Amelle's position in the group.

"Amelle has been in the group for over four years and she's been part of our biggest album as a group. I think it's unfair," Heidi continued.

"That's not disrespecting what previous members have brought to the group, but we were signed as Sugababes to Island Records and I'm still signed to Island records as Sugababes."

As for new member Jade Ewen, the former Eurovision contestant has had her fair share of criticism too.

"It's just amazing how powerful the media are," she said. "One of my biggest problems when I was trying to do the solo thing was that I had this squeaky clean image.

"Then overnight joining Sugababes I became this horrible diva who's come in and taken Keisha's place. I just found that really odd. You become quite paranoid."

Jade says lots of what's been written in the papers isn't true but admits she does feel some awkwardness over Keisha.

"I'm going in and replacing someone's position. We're literally deleting, erasing Keisha's vocals and replacing them with mine," she said.

"Of course I'm happy to be there but it's a difficult thing to do as a singer. I can't imagine how that would feel if the shoe was on the other foot."

Jade also thinks this next Sugababes album, which has been put on hold until February, is their best yet.

"I'm proud of it and I hope people see that I've only taken an opportunity that was my dream and that doesn't make me a bad person," she said.

"I think anyone would do the same in my position."

Well I think this issue has been discussed enough in recent months and this post is pretty much the final word I will have on the matter. Check the revealing interview out below:

From the previews earlier this week I had kind of had an idea of what the topics in the interview were going to be about. However, it was still very revealing and demonstrates just how big of a thug Chris Brown is. This is what frustrates me with his supporters saying he made a mistake, how can you be so mad to hit a woman. We have all had our moments of rage at people. However, you know no matter how angry you get at a person beating them is not the way forward. As many people have said before once he hits you once he will do it again, therefore any future girlfriends of Chris Brown better watch out. Graffiti should flop when it is released if not then I guess we are accepting domestic violence. As much as it should be about the music, this guy does not deserve the career that he has.

Miley Cyrus: ‘I’ve Never Heard a Jay-Z Song’

Miley Cyrus, who name drops Jay-Z in her hit “Party in the U.S.A.,” was asked what Jay-Z song she was referring to when she sings, “And the Jay-Z song was on.”

“Honestly, I picked that song ’cause I needed something to go with my clothing line,” the 16-year-old revealed. “I didn’t write it. I didn’t even expect it to be popular originally.”

Cyrus shocked the interviewer when she said she had never even heard a song by the rapper. “I’ve never heard a Jay-Z song. I don’t listen to pop music and it’s not even my style of music.”

This is honestly a joke and just demonstrates have fake and full of crap she is. I find it hard to believe she has never heard a Jay Z song. Then going onto say she doesn't like pop music when that is what her career is based on is completely idiotic. She has lost all my respect.

Taio Cruz - No Other One [Official Video]

It looks like they have decided to release the fantastic 'No Other One' as the second single from the struggling 'Rokstarr' album. This means they will be saving the Ke$ha single for another time. As this is very similar to 'Break Your Heart' I can see it being a huge hit. The video is below and looks very cheap, which is a shame.

JLS - JLS [Album Review]

The first album for X Factor runners up JLS is set to be released on Monday on the back of what will be two number one singles come Sunday. Here is my review.

Beat Again – Their first number one single is a great track. I think it was the perfect single to introduce JLS to the market. It was also a relief they never went down a Westlife route. It was a shame after they won two MOBO awards based on this track that they could not even do a live performance.

Everybody In Love – The JR produced track is on its way to the top of the UK chart this week. Although I think the song is kind of bland, I can understand why young girls would eat this up as it is very catchy.

Keep Her – Probably the best on the album outside of the two singles. However, I am just left wondering is this the best it can get. This track is a complete rip off of Taio Cruz.

Crazy For You – The first proper ballad on the album and it is a stinker. I’ve heard this all before and it doesn’t impress me in the slightest, even the vocals are poor.

Heal This Heartbreak – The beat on this track is an improvement on the previous two. However, I am once again left completely bored. Honestly, material like this just cannot make it in a tough market.

Close To You – Yawn yet another run of the mill ballad. This track would honestly not be out of place on an Aaron Carter album from ten years ago. This almost put me to sleep and almost made me want to stop listening to the rest of the album.

Only Tonight – At least this track does not put you to sleep. However, it is yet more run of the mill bland rnb. I’m honestly struggling to find anything positive to say at this stage. There are so many other artists out there who are releasing similar material to this. However, that material is better and vocals are also better.

One Shot – This track is an improvement and vocals have improved. That being said, there were better tracks on the Taio Cruz album I reviewed the other week, so if I can get better music from him, the question remains why would anyone waste their time buying this for reasons other than their image.

Private – The production here is better. The track is also slightly catchy. However, it is nothing that I want to hear again. At this stage, I am annoyed an album with this much tripe was able to be released.

Don’t Go – Yet another Taio Cruz rip off. I think JLS got a hold of his album and just decided to imitate his entire album here. The vocals are once again unimpressive and all the tracks so far have just blended into one.

Only Making Love – It honestly sounds like a ten year wrote and sang this track, which in turn makes it kind of perverse. I am literally struggling to get through this tripe.

Kickstart – I like this track which may be surprising. However, it is as close to the first two singles that they are going to get. Great little up-tempo number, which I can imagine having a great dance routine. Vocals let it down.

Tightrope – Yet another dreary ballad which is of course a terrible way to end the album. The last note from Aston is the best vocal you get on this album. At this stage, I don’t have anything left to say as I am so utterly disappointed in this album.

I’m not the biggest JLS fan. However, they did show passion and growth on the X Factor and I found their first two singles catchy. Therefore, I gave the album a chance only to be so disappointed that I have gave up completely on JLS. Perhaps the fact that this is their first album can be used as a slight excuse but when you have debuts from people like Lady Gaga released this year and redefining pop, JLS just fail in comparison. Also, compared to boy bands of the past this attempt is utterly pathetic, for any long term success for the band they are going to have to do better than this tripe.

Rihanna to appear on X Factor - 29th November

It has finally been confirmed that Rihanna will appear on X Factor on the 29th November. The report from various online sources quote Rihanna as saying:

“It was the easiest decision I’ve ever made.

A lot of people watch the show over here on YouTube and I personally caught a lot of it when Leona Lewis was on who’s an amazing artist.

So to say yes to Simon was an honour, especially as I know the show so well”

This performance is great news as it might breathe some life into the UK charts which is being ran over by X Factor acts right now. Rihanna will most likely perform 'Russian Roulette'. This is the kind of promotion she needs in order to get huge sales.

In4merz have confirmed that Alexandra Burke's next single from the album 'Overcome' will be 'Broken Heels'. Strange choice for this time of year, I really thought they were going to go for 'The Silence' and go with this track as the single after. Had it been my decision, I would have rushed out 'The Silence' now in order for massive album sales. I guess Simon Cowell does not want his cheap charity track being overshadowed. The Red One produced track is a fantastic uptempo number and may well be another hit. There is no information on a release date, however, I think it will be out January. Check it out below:

Rihanna Confirmed For AMA's

Rihanna has been confirmed as a performer at the American Music Awards.

The 'Russian Roulette' singer, who has recently gone public with her feelings about her altercation with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, last appeared on the annual awards show in 2008, People reports.

She will join performers including Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Daughtry and Jennifer Lopez.

Rihanna sang her smash hit 'Umbrella' and Ne-Yo duet 'Hate That I Love You' in 2007 and 'Rehab' in 2008. It is not known which track she will sing at this year's ceremony.

Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson lead the nominations for the 37th Annual American Music Awards, which will be broadcast on Sunday, November 22 on ABC.

Rihanna's new album Rated R will be released the following day.

Ke$ha - UK Chart Invasion

As you may know new RCA records artist Ke$ha is making an huge impression worldwide right now with her first single, the Dr. Luke produced 'Tik Tok'. Ke$sha featured on Flo Rida's number one hit single 'Right Round' earlier in the year and will feature on Taio Cruz's next single 'Dirty Picture'. Surprisingly RCA have not waited until 2010 to release 'Tik Tok' as the single was released to iTunes on Tuesday. The success has been fascinating as the track has already reached number 3 behind the X Factor tripe. 2010 may well be Ke$ha's year.

Amerie made her first televised performance of new single ‘Heard Em All’ on The Wendy Williams Show earlier today. This is the first television promo I have came across for 'In Love and War'. Check it out below:

I enjoyed the performance, Amerie just defines fierce. The song does grow on me but there are so much better tacks on the album. Amerie looks amazing as she always does. She is perfection. Is Wendy Williams a tranny? Can anyone answer this?

'In Love and War' is out now, there have been Itunes errors and stocking problems. The album is available on Amazon though so go get it.

Drake - 'Rated R' Excitement

Rap Up reports that hip-hop star Drake, has heard his Rihannas new music and is sharing his excitement.

“Rihanna has a great album,” the 23-year-old rapper said after hearing the pop singer’s fourth effort Rated R. “She’s got great records that she’s using, she’s got great records that she’s not even using that she has for a later date. I’m excited for her. She deserves everything that she gets.”

However, Drake was suprised at the choice of “Russian Roulette” as the album’s first single. “It’s a cool little record. I don’t know if personally that’s the route I would’ve gone for a single choice,” “I can only say that because I’ve been around and heard the music that she’s coming with other than that record.”

While the Stargate production he recorded with Rihanna didn’t make the final cut, he hopes it will eventually find a home. “We did do some great work together and hopefully it’ll find it’s place on some project one day. The record we have is great. It’s a special record, so for it not to make it, I know something had to click. It’s all good. I think the project’s gonna be great no matter what.”

According to Drake, Rihanna is ready to start anew after dealing with the intense media scrutiny of the past nine months. “There’s been so much media attention swirling around her, that in order for her to get back to the music, she couldn’t have any ties to any of the stuff that’s been going on. I think she just wants to start fresh.”

It seems that songs are being held back for a potential re-release which is of close a great move considering the success of the 'Good Girl Gone Bad' re-release. Rated R is out on 23rd November.

Monica - Still Standing Episode 2

The second episode of Monica: Still Standing was aired last night. THe first episode pulled in 3.2 million viewers which is the second highest rated BET debut ever. If Monica can continue to pull in those viewers then this next album comes out.

Once again Monicais shown to be a warm person that is very caring of her fans and family. I think this show is doing wonders for her.

Keri Hilson on Mo'Nique [Performance and Interview]

Keri Hilson dropped by Mo'Nique to perform her single 'Slow Dance', the single is really underperforming, however, as a 5th single I guess this can be expected. Mary J Blige Pushes Back Album

This is definetely the year of the pushback.

MJB’s ninth studio album Stronger will now arrive in stores on December 22, three days before Christmas. It was previously scheduled to go head-to-head with Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and more on December 15.

I can see why she would want to move away from that date. However, surely her record company must realise she will lose sales on the Christmas week as shops are closed for some of this week.

Is there even going to be a single? Seems a bit of a mess.

I was waiting to read a few other perceptions on this before posting to see the drama unfold. It seems that everyone is having a negative opinion on Rihanna right now and I think it is downright pathetic. If she came out with pop everyone would have complained she wasn't taking a risk. Now she is coming out with a risk and everyone is still moaning. 'Russian Roulette' is already top 10 on US iTunes and it was only released today, so I guess the sales will do the talking.

As for the video, it was not exactly high budget but I'm guessing it was not suppost to be. It was very dark and gothic and fits her new image perfectly. She is creating a huge promotional campaign and her album is going to sell in huge numbers.

As we know, Rihanna will be speaking out publicly for the first time about what happened that unforgettable night in February between her and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on Thursday. However, snippets from the interview have leaked.

“This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone,” she tells ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer in a three-part interview airing Thursday and Friday morning on “Good Morning America,” and culminating on Friday’s “20/20.”

She also reveals that Brown, who plead guilty to assaulting her, once had her heart. “He was definitely my first big love.”

The media attention from the incident turned the 21-year-old pop star into a household name overnight. “I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears,” she tells Glamour magazine in the December issue. “That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day. It was like, ‘What, there are helicopters circling my house? There are 100 people in my cul-de-sac? What do you mean, I can’t go back home?’”

Rihanna also discusses the photo of her battered face that was leaked online, “It was humiliating; that is not a photo you would show to anybody. I felt completely taken advantage of. I felt like people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, and it’s my life. I was disappointed, especially when I found out the photo was [supposedly leaked by] two women.”

Rihanna’s fourth album Rated R, due November 23, is in the top 10 on iTunes albums chart based on pre-sales alone. Her single “Russian Roulette” is currently the No. 11most-downloaded song in the digital store.

JLS already dating fans

JB from JLS has spoke out by stating in response to newspaper Metro if he'd ever consider dating a fan, to which he replied without hesitation:

"Of course, they’re just people. My ex-girlfriend was a fan of the group."

JB [far left] also admits that girls have gone to extreme lengths to get to the group:

"In Glasgow they set off the fire alarm, so everyone had to leave the hotel. They went crazy when they saw us. They’re meeting their heroes, which is us, which is a bit weird. They see us as icons so they do whatever they can to meet us."

It seems less than a year after getting a record deal JB from JLS is already up his own ass describing himself as a 'hero' and an 'icon'. Enjoy it while it lasts as going by the pathetics vocals on X Factor at the weekend it is not going to be a long term thing.

Kid Cudi to Appear on Shakira Album

It has been announced that Kid Cudi will appear on the US version of Shakiras 'She Wolf' album.The “Day ‘N’ Nite” rapper appears on the remix to The Neptunes production “Did It Again,” while Pitbull guests on the Spanish remix “Lo Hecho Está Hecho.”

This really irritates me that the US are getting much more material on their version of the album when us Europeans do not. It just seems rather weird that the US gets the most material when she is not even American. Anyway 'She Wolf' will hit stores on November 23rd.

Ok am I the only one who is utterly confused with what is going on with all these Beyonce releases at the moment.

According to Rap Up:

Beyoncé will celebrate the one-year anniversary of her third effort I Am… Sasha Fierce by releasing a deluxe edition of her multi-platinum album, a live CD/DVD, and a new video featuring Lady Gaga.

I Am… Sasha Fierce Deluxe Edition will include five No. 1 hits and two bonus tracks including “Video Phone (Extended Remix)” featuring Lady Gaga. Also available on Monday, November 23, is I Am…Yours. An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas, a concert performance DVD and live CD that captures a never-before-seen performance from Beyoncé filmed at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas in August.

Beyonce rereleased her album in the UK today as 'The Platinum Edition' and as far as I am aware she has already released a deluxe version of this album. Therefore in total, there will be four versions of this album available. UNREAL. I also cannot believe another album is now coming out on 23rd November.

Now to the good new Rap Up also reports:

MTV will exclusively world premiere Beyoncé and Lady Gaga’s “Video Phone” video on-air and online on Thursday, November 5. “Video Phone” will premiere in the U.S. on MTV and MTV.com at 5:30 p.m. EST, while MTV channels worldwide will debut the music video in 162 countries following the airing of the MTV Europe Music Awards from Berlin where Beyoncé is scheduled to perform.

Coincidentally, Lady Gaga will re-release her own album The Fame on November 23, boasting another collaboration with Beyoncé titled “Telephone.”

Beyonce - I Am Yours [Trailer]

ABC will be airing a personal insight into the world of Beyonce on 26th November, which is Thanksgiving. The performances on the show were shot at the Encore Theater, Las Vegas, on August 2, 2009 during her worldwide tour I Am... Tour.

X Factor Week 4 - Results

Once again the X Factor finalists ruined a classic as you can see below:

JLS – Everybody in Love

So last years runner ups JLS returned to perform their second single ‘Everybody in Love’. Whilst I have great respect for JLS and the work they have put into obtaining a record deal and becoming a huge band, this material is just not doing it for me.

Boring uninspired and middle of the road rnb is what I would describe this as. The song is already number one on itunes with a massive lead. As for the performance it was ok as you may notice the chorus was blatantly mimed whilst the verses were live. Marvins vocals were completely terrible and I was cringing throughout. As for the dancing it really couldn’t be anymore cheesy.

I’m also bored of this x factor taking over the charts every week it is boring.

The bottom 2 this week was Rachel and Lloyd. I will get to the aftermath in a moment. Check the performances below:

Rachel – Stop Crying Your Heart Out

As you can see from above, Rachel gave her performance of the series. The vocals in that performance were spot on. Now to the results:

This is the stage for me where the X Factor had their jump the shark moment. This is a competition about singing. Fair point that Rachel was now in the bottom two for the third time but she completely decimated Lloyd in this sing off and he got to stay. There is no logic in having a sing off when the worst contestant stays. This year series is beyond a farce, last year we had Ruth, Diana, JLS and Alexandra all fighting it out to win with huge performances. This year there is no one good to root for.

X Factor Week 4 - Review

This week on X Factor is rock week. From the review below you will be able to tell that although rock was the theme it pretty much flopped.

Joe McElderry – Don’t Stop Believing

Good song choice. Joe does everything right and may have a couple of years as a popstar, I just can’t see anything sustainable here.

Lucie Jones – Sweet Child O’ Mine

Ugh this girl repulses me, everything about her is annoying and the constant smugness on her face is getting to me. She is taking risks I will give her that but she just leaves me cold.

Lloyd Daniels – I Kissed A Girl

This was perhaps one of the worst X Factor performances ever. The song is not rock and the vocals were just terrible. Lloyd is fast becoming my most hated contestant of all time.

Danyl Johnson – I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing

Ok we now have Simon standing up half way through his performances; surely this has got to be a joke. This performance was terrible and I cannot stand the pity party that was going on here.

Stacey Solomon – Somewhere Only We Know

I love this song and felt this performance was ok. Stacey is going to sail through to the end due to her personality; I just don’t get excited when she performs.

Jamie Archer – Rocks

I feel like I am the only one who is completely bored and uninspired by him. He is just so boring, his performing style is dreary and I am stunned he has yet to be in the bottom two.

Rachel Adedeji – One

I think her vocals are improving every week. She reminds me so much of Rihanna, it took her years to find her perfect style so I don’t understand why people are saying she doesn’t know her style of course she doesn’t this competition is about growth.

John and Edward – We Will Rock You

Ok the joke really has gone far enough. I am tired of the - they are entertaining talk as lets face it they are not entertaining they do the same performance every week. Make them do a ballad and we will see how they get on.

Olly Murs – Come Together

I think Olly is most likely going to win the competition at this stage. He is the type of guy that all girls get wet over, has a good voice and is now getting the reserved praise from Simon which is a good thing as if he gives you over praising the public see through it. As for the song I am not a huge fan of The Beatles, however I can appreciate he put his own spin on it. As for the top coming off, ew your chest is not nice.

This years X Factor is honestly boring me. I have no feelings towards the contestants, I just don’t even care who goes home anymore.

Kelly Clarkson's Fifth Studio Album to Come Out in Fall 2010

According to Ace Showbiz the fifth studio album from Kelly Clarkson will be released in Fall 2010 and this was confirmed by Kelly herself on KISS 103.5 radio station where she stopped in for a break during her 'All I Ever Wanted' tour. Kelly notes:

"We're already working on it. [The songs] are really different. The next record is going to be really different," Kelly said. "If I end up liking stuff that I've done then I'll include it, but if I like other stuff better I'll use that."

"Sometimes you're just more inspired I guess, and sometimes if you have records that come out really close together it might be more other peoples songs. Because there's not enough time to write and sing and perform and do everything."

I am glad she is already working on a new album, the girl really does work her ass off. I think we can assume there will be no more singles from 'All I Ever Wanted', which is dissapointing as I thought it was a great album. I think it went downhill when she released Katy Perry leftover 'I Do Not Hook Up' as the second single when there were so much better choices there. Oh well at least the album spawned as US and UK number one single.

Kelly is touring the US at the moment and will tour the UK from February 2010.

Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart [Video Pictures]

Sugababes 'Sweet 7' pushed back and interview

For me this comes as no suprise as I was beginning to wonder how the Sugababes were going to promote an album in November when Amelle is who knows where recovering from stress. With a new release date of February 10th 2010 the girls will have a greater opportunity to gel as a band. The album will be preceeded by the single 'Wear My Kiss'. You can hear this below with vocals from Keisha:

The Fernando Garibay track is a catchy uptempo. However, it is nothing we haven't heard before. I think most Sugababes fans just want this album released so the new trio can move onto the next one.

'About A Girl' as far as I know will be released on 9th November.

Solange - No Longer Signed To Record Label

According to BV Buzz Solange Knowles is no longer signed to Interscope/Geffen Records. There have been rumours since April that this was the case. However, there was a strong denial to the reports by Matthew Knowles:

"Our joint venture with Music World and Interscope/Geffen/A&M is very much in placed for Solange. It's very disappointing in recent days the amount of false statements in the marketplace from Solange being drop to me accused of being Kelly Rowland's father."

Though Solange has been currently recording new music for her third solo CD, that music is being recorded independently as she has yet to ink a new deal with another label. Further information suggests:

"Solange felt it necessary to go with a smaller, independent label that focuses more on the alternative genre, one that reflects her music style and artistry. Solange is working on a new album and the label will be announced shortly. The relationship with Interscope is excellent and the current album, 'Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams' is still being worked through the Music World/ Interscope joint venture with consistent weekly sales."

Ok I do not know where these consistent weekly sales for the previous album are, I will be suprised if it even sells 100 copies per week. I think we will be a long time waiting for a new album which is annoying as her previous effort was interestingly good.

Another leak from the Leona Lewis somophore album 'Echo' has leaked. This track is a collaboration with One Republic. As we know Ryan Tedder the lead singer of One Republic wrote and produced the lead single 'Happy'.

As for this track it is very middle of the road and sounds exactly like what you would think it would. Not to say this track is not enjoyable it is just nothing special. Leonas voice shines through as normal but I can't help but think her music is going to have to become edgier for her to last in the long run. She has a great image for this album but on the leaks so far I am not seeing the rock vibe she suggested would arise on this album.

This years American Idol runner up Adam Lambert is set to release his first album 'For Your Entertainment' on the 23rd November. As we know he will have stiff competition from Lady Gaga, Rihanna, 50 Cent, Jay Sean amongst others. The cover is below:

When I first saw this cover I was literally left speechless. As most of you know Adam is gay and the cover has apparently started a huge debate online from gay people as to whether this cover is taking it too far. Basically the make up is a bit much as his entire mouth looks like a cover girl mouth. This image was not projected on American Idol so it baffles me he has gone to this extreme for the album cover. At least we can never say he is not unique. Anyway, I am really looking forward to the album it is going to be fantastic as he has worked with everyone from Lady Gaga to Muse.

Michael Jackson - This Is It [Film Review]

Tonight I went to see ‘This Is It’ the Michael Jackson documentary of the rehearsals of what was to be his final tour. I was going to the opening night of the gigs at the o2 in London and I was completely devastated at the news of his passing. There has been a lot of criticism over the past few weeks of this film some reports even going as far to say that body doubles were used. I can confirm before I start the review that there were not any body doubles as it was clear it was Michael Jackson. The constant rumours of him not showing up for rehearsals or not taking an interest were also lies printed by the media as he was shown watching and helping to pick dancers and other members of the stage team.

The film starts with a sad note detailing what the film was about and the intentions of the tour. The atmosphere in the cinema at this point was very tense and you could tell that no one knew what to expect next. The first scene displays several of the dancers on the tour showing how far across the world they have came to be a part of the shows and you can tell how emotional they all are. Throughout the selection of the dancers Michael was shown stating who he believed was best for the tour and you could tell he really was taking an interest.

The rehearsals kick off with ‘Wanna Be Starting Something’ and the entrance looked epic with Michael arriving in a huge robot. Various shots from different rehearsals are intertwined at once and the passion from Michael shines and shows his vocals are still there.

The next main scene focuses on a green screen that is being recorded in order to multiply Michael’s dancers in order to create the effect of an army marching to ‘They Don’t Really Care about Us’. Michael is once again at this recording going over dance routines and helping to make it perfect. The rehearsal footage of ‘They Don’t Really Care About Us’ is then show and honestly the routine is perfect and the aggression and talent comes across. I have to mention lead guitarist Orianthi Panagaris here as she is fantastic and her talent shines prominently further on within the film. Next up was ‘Human Nature’ and this will slam all the critics who say Michael had lost his voice it was sweet, sensual and emotive.

‘I Just Can’t Stop Loving You’ was a duet with Judith Hill. This girl is fantastic and the strong vocals throughout the performance were perfection. It is at this point I know I’m going to become more devastated as the film goes on as I won’t get to see this show live.

The whole ‘Smooth Criminal’ segment to the film was epic and epic may even be an underestimation. A film segment was created showing Michael running from an actor from the past in a scene reminiscent from the ‘Smooth Criminal’ video. A shot across the city is then shown leading into ‘Smooth Criminal’ a description of this build up to the song will not do it justice. There is a hilarious scene between Michael and Kenny Ortega here in which he makes it clear it is his way or no way. The bluntness Michael possessed was fantastic and the artist in him shone.

Next up was ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ in which Michael lays down the law to the musical director that he is not getting the music correct and he wants it precise to the way it is on the original recording. Anyone who said Michael lost his way just needs to watch this scene to see the passion and knowledge he has. The interaction with the female dancer on this rehearsal is sizzling [a word Michael is fond of as you will see].

Next up is the Jackson 5 segment of the show and once again the graphics and effects are on point. At the start of ‘I Want You Back’ it appears that Michael has forgot the words he then reveals at the end of the song ‘he feels like he is being fisted in the ear’ as the music is too loud. This led to a hilarious scene and pleased the audience. On ‘I’ll Be There’ amazing vocals are produced and Michael even gets his dancers involved in a sing a long, which was very moving.

‘Thriller’ is the next epic scene in the movie. Once again a green screen is shown and the ‘Thriller’ monsters are recreated for the backdrop. Michael gets very excited about the monsters and knows exactly what he is looking for and what works. On the rehearsal he appears out of a huge spider and step for step perfects the legendary ‘Thriller’ dance break. This scene proves the dancing was still there and he was going to own these gigs.

‘Beat It’ leads to more hilarious scenes for the audience as Michael goes on a cherry picker which was to lead him over the crowd. The kid in him wants to go as high as possible even though a lower height is used for the rehearsal. The interaction between Kenny and Michael is fantastic and this scene is great. Michael and his dancers have a complete freestyle at the end and it is very moving.

‘Black or White’ is the defining moment in the film for Orianthi Panagaris. Michael states that it is her time to shine and encourages her to reach the highest notes possible on the guitar. This demonstrated that he took an interest in the musicians and wanted them to develop. ‘Earth Sing’ was a fantastic scene which demonstrated Michaels love for the planet and his passion for these issues were evident in this song as his vocals were on point and he knew exactly how he wanted the stage to be set.

‘Billie Jean’ left me completely speechless. You just have to watch this to believe it I don’t want to spoil it for anyone.

‘Man in the Mirror’ was the ending to the show and the song that became our anthem when we were all grieving for Michael. The film ends after the performance and the audience in the cinema applauded. It was very moving to know this really was it.

This film was fantastic and demonstrated that Michael Jackson was a talented, genuine and passionate performer who got more grief in his life than the most evil person in the world would deserve. This film is his legacy and shows him for the real human being he was.

I am just devastated that This Is It will no longer go ahead. The gigs would have solidified Michael as untouchable in music history. The tour crew became a family and I can’t imagine how hard it was for them. One final message to everyone, never forget Michael Jackson.

Pixie Lott - Cry Me Out [Official Video]

The video for the third single from Pixie Lott's first album 'Turn It Up' has been released.

I have to say I am not a fan of this song or the video, the word bland springs to mind. Pixie has a fantastic voice and looks great but she is still not doing it for me. After two number one singles, I think this will struggle to make the top 10. Her album has also only sold a miserable 66,000 copies, a huge hit was needed over the Christmas period to get the sales up and I can't see it being this.

Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart [2nd Single]

The second single from the long awaited fourth studio album from Alicia Keys
'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart' was leaked today. The song was produced by Alicia and Jeff Bhasker who was responsible for the production of 'Love Lockdown' and Kid Cudis debut, amongst others.

This track is amazing and will shut the haters up. I admit 'Doesn't Mean Anything' isn't as fantastic as her previous material and may have dissapointed some fans. However, the beat and soft yet string vocals on this track are a force to be reckoned with.

Am I the only one that doesn't get the whole Twilight saga? Anyway it is good to see a soundtrack at number one. Album sales are abysmal this week, even the UK sales are better. Impressive that Joss Stone managed to get top 10. Next week Michael Jackson will bring some life into the charts with sales between 300,000 and 350,000. Also watch out for Taylor Swift.

BET aired the first episode of Monica: Still Standing this week. I think it is fantastic that we will get a look into Monica’s life as this is something we have never really gotten the privilege of. You can tell from the first episode that the woman hustles and wants to make the best from her career.
